I have a 2006 Avalon xls and when trying to find a battery for it, two different group sizes come up: 24F and 35. Does anyone know what size I really need?
Thank you
Thank you
I had a Duracell from Sam's before in my Corolla, and it leaked. At that time, it was before Costco started offering Interstate batteries, and the old brand Kirkland didn't have a Group 24F battery before the switch.Sams Club Duracell 24F in my '11 Avalon and '04 Camry and '08 Highlander and.....
I would take a 24F over 35 simply for better performance. Ran the Highlander on battery only for an 90 minutes while driving it home on a dead alternator. Comparing the sizes, 35 has a reserve capacity of 95 minutes and the 24F is 120 minutes.
Walmart 24F Everstart Maxx is $10 cheaper than the Duracell, and in my experience, just as good.
I would go for a Walmart brand battery. Its gotten excellent reviews and is far less expensive. Interstate is great too! Plus made in America and owned by Christians but is $60-$80 more expensive. If you're a normal person always get more CCA
The Costco interstate is really good and has a no hassle exchanges warranty
I ended up with a group 34r agm from xs power
