Apparently a rock bounced up and hit one of the front ultrasonic parking sensors. I need to replace it. I can get the sensor. Where might I find some information on where all the mounting points are for the front bumper cover. Or is there a way to replace the sensor without removing the front bumper cover.

From reading about adding the OEM fog lights from Japan, it seems like the removal of the front bumper is a pretty involved pain, hopefully you won't need to do that. I haven't looked into it but just guessing, you may be able to drop the plastic shields just behind the bumper and work your arms in there to un-clip / un-screw the factory sensor and install the new one. I don't think you'll find much info on it beyond that being that this is a new and non enthusiast vehicle. I wish you luck.

I'm an admitted tech nerd and car buff so I love all the tech features on new cars but this is an example of the drawbacks. There are so many sensors on the exterior of cars that a simple low speed bump into something can cost several thousand dollars in repairs. Ultrasonic sensors, cameras, radars etc are all vulnerable to minor impacts and expensive to replace.
